Terms & Conditions
1. All
participants shall be bound by the terms
and conditions and all amendments,
additions, replacements and
modifications thereto as may be made
from time to time. Participants must
read and agree to the terms and
conditions before participating. These
terms and conditions are also available
on
www.bruneitourism.travel.
2. The
KNK Passport is a platform to attract
local residents to experience Brunei
Darussalam at its best through tour
packages, services, goods and activities
offered by participating KNK partners
and to provide an opportunity for
participants to win prizes.
3. To
qualify for the Grand Draw, participants
must collect a minimum of 25 stamps on
their KNK Passport, one of which must be
a stamp from the listed KNK “10 Must Do
Packages 2009”.
4. Stamps
can also be collected with a minimum
purchase of B$20 per person in tours,
services, goods or activities at any of
the participating KNK Partners.
5. The
first 1001 participants who have
collected a minimum of 25 stamps will be
entitled to a special KNK gift. Gifts
are to be collected from the Tourism
Development Department.
6. The
KNK Passport gift redemption and Grand
Draw is open to all individual persons
in Brunei Darussalam holding a valid
Brunei Darussalam Identity Card,
including Brunei Darussalam Citizens,
Brunei Darussalam Permanent Residents
and foreigners legally residing in
Brunei Darussalam. The KNK “10 Must Do
Packages 2009” promotion will be from 12th
February 2009 to 31st
December 2009.
7. Each
person is allowed to have as many
Passports completed as he/she wishes.
Every visit to participating KNK
partners will entitle participants to
one stamp on one KNK Passport, subject
to the terms and conditions of how the
stamp can be obtained. Transferring of
stamps from one KNK Passport to another
is not permitted.
8. Only
entries made on an official KNK Passport
produced and distributed by the Brunei
Tourism Development Department or
through its participating KNK Partners
from 12th February 2009 to 31st
December 2009 and which have been
properly completed will be considered
eligible entries for the purposes of the
gift redemption and qualification for
the Grand Draw.
9.
Prizes on offer for the Grand Draw will
be announced during The Abacus Travel
Fair in July 2009.
10.
The Grand Draw will take place in
January 2010.
11.
All winners agree that their name,
picture and other particulars as the
Tourism Development Department may deem
appropriate, may be used for promotional
purposes.
12.
In the event a winner cannot be
contacted and the prize is unclaimed
after reasonable efforts have been made
then the Tourism Development Department
reserves the right to re-draw for new
winners.
13.
Employees of the Tourism Development
Department, participating KNK Partners
and sponsors associated with the KNK
Passport, and the immediate family
members of all such employees, are not
eligible for the KNK Passport, gift
redemption and/or Grand Draw.
14.
Tourism Development Department and
participating KNK Partners officers,
employees and assignees thereof shall
not be liable for any claim, damage,
loss, injury or inconvenience arising
out of or in connection with the KNK
Passport and the KNK “10 Must Do
Packages 2009” promotion, gift
redemption and/or Grand Draw, or any
prize, including the award thereof
issued to any person.
